Pride at Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke
On Wednesday 28th June Cygnet Kewstoke celebrated International Pride Day led by Occupational Therapy Assistant, Caitlin Craggs. The event was attended and supported by staff and service users throughout the hospital.
Staff were asked to wear colourful clothes in exchange for a contribution of £1 to support “Proud” a Local community interest company group based in Weston Super Mare.
Staff and service users participated in games, arts and crafts and enjoyed a selection of refreshments. There was also a mini photo booth equipped with fun pride related props which was lots of fun!
The day was heart-warming and such a triumph in celebrating diversity.
