New Information Hub at Cygnet Oaks
Wayne said: “As part of our work, we support service users to develop daily structure, routines, and meaningful activities. However, information about local resources, groups, and community opportunities is not always readily available or easily accessible. The Information Hub has been designed to address this gap by providing a space where information can be gathered, organised, displayed, and regularly updated.
“The hub enables service users to independently access information about activities, support services, education, volunteering opportunities, wellbeing resources, and information about the Oaks. By encouraging self-directed exploration, it empowers individuals to identify opportunities that match their interests and goals.
“The aim is to promote independence, enhance community engagement, and support service users in developing meaningful daily routines. It also provides staff with a central location to share information and signpost individuals to relevant resources and opportunities.
“Overall, the Information Hub offers an accessible, practical, and person-centred resource that encourages service users to explore new opportunities, increase their community involvement, and make informed choices about activities that can positively support their recovery and wellbeing.”
