New co-produced artwork at Cygnet Hospital Clifton
Following feedback through our “You Said, We Did” initiative, service users on Ancaria ward at Cygnet Hospital Clifton requested a new mural for their quiet room to create a more calming and therapeutic environment.
Support Worker Chidi Okoro, a talented artist, collaborated with service users to bring their vision to life.
Drawing inspiration from nature, Chidi worked closely with the people we support to select a beach-themed design that would promote relaxation and wellbeing in their quiet space. Over the course of two weeks, he carefully created the artwork, transforming the room into a peaceful retreat.
The completed mural has received positive feedback from service users, who feel more relaxed and comfortable using the quiet room for reflection and therapeutic activities.
