Cygnet Newton House’s Summer Festival
Cygnet Newton House welcomed in the summer with its annual Summer Festival, bringing patients and staff together for a day of fun, food and entertainment.
The event included a delicious BBQ, live music, an ice cream van and garden games. In the weeks leading up to the festival, patients created and practised their own DJ sets before taking to the decks on the day. Their performances kept everyone entertained, with music and dancing helping to create a fantastic atmosphere throughout the celebration.
This year’s theme was Icons, with staff and patients showing up in a fantastic range of creative costumes. Outfits included ABBA, the Spice Girls and Pitbull, while some people chose to come dressed as their favourite members of staff.
With the heatwave arriving just in time, the sunny weather provided the perfect setting for a memorable day enjoyed by everyone.
