Cygnet Maple House’s Christmas Festivities
On Monday 15th December, Cygnet Maple House held a Christmas party for staff and service users. The party included festive-themed games, music and karaoke as well as a special visit from the big man himself (aka Nicola Bicknell).
On Tuesday 16th, they invited a group of our carers, family and friends to a Carers’ Christmas Lunch, supported as always by the wonderful Carer Ambassador Christine Clarke.
Everyone had a lovely lunch, the room filled up as staff became free from duties and joined in. Then they discussed the new Carer Strategy and support resources available from Cygnet, Black Belt Advocacy, the Mobilise phone application and local support groups.
There were also discussions regarding what carers would like from Cygnet Maple House in 2026 and are now planning engagement events for the following year.
