Cygnet Hospital Bury raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support
Well done to the OT team at Cygnet Hospital Bury after a Macmillan Coffee Morning they organised raised almost £150. The team delivered a fantastic event which included a ‘Bake Off’ competition, cake sale, quiz and raffle.
Sibo, Registered Manager for the hospital’s Hudson services, was given the difficult job of judging The ‘Bake Off’ competition. Each ward managed to proudly guard their recipes and ideas before they were revealed on the day. After much deliberation the entry from Lower East was declared the winner and won a £20 credit for activity provision.
One staff member Paul, said “It was a great effort made by the team to support an amazing cause that is close to so many people’s hearts and has touched so many lives. My Dad has recently been supported by Macmillan nurses, so on a personal level I’d like to express my gratitude to all.”
