Cygnet Aspen House’s Remembrance Day Poppies
Ahead of Remembrance Day, service users and support staff at Cygnet Aspen House came together to create poppies using a variety of arts and crafts materials.
They also learned about the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ and the meaning behind the different coloured poppies worn for Remembrance Day.
As they got creative, service users and staff shared stories and memories of relatives who fought in the war, sparking conversations about history and remembrance.
