CoppaFeel! Fundraising and awareness event at Cygnet Raglan House
Service users at Cygnet Raglan House were invited to engage in a fun scavenger hunt around a local park, as part of a fundraising event for CoppaFeel! A breast cancer awareness charity focused on promoting early detection of breast cancer by encouraging women under 30 to regularly check their breasts.
The ladies also attended an educational session where they learnt how to check their breasts for early signs of breast cancer. They made personalised t-shirts and then walked 2km around the park, looking for facts, which were hidden in the trees and the surrounding area.
Everyone had a wonderful time and learnt about the importance of checking breasts regularly. Some of the ladies even signed up for monthly text reminders.
Team Raglan raised £101 for this wonderful charity.
