Bury Bakes for Macmillan Cancer Support
Lower West Ward at Cygnet Hospital Bury enjoyed a wonderful day of baking to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Service users got involved in baking a variety of cakes and treats including chocolate fudge cake, brownies, victoria sponge cake, flapjacks, carrot cake and a very popular Oreo cheesecake. Diabetic friendly and sugar free options were also available to make the event inclusive for all!
Overall £23 was raised from the delicious bakes made by lower west ward. Combined with other wards, the Dunes hospital at Cygnet Bury raised around £150.54 for Macmillan Cancer Support! Well done everyone for getting stuck in and raising money for a great cause!
