Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Cygnet Sherwood House
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, staff at Cygnet Sherwood House came together to show their support by proudly wearing pink and hosting a dedicated awareness event. The day featured an informative education session lead by Dr Mass, focused on breast cancer, highlighting key topics such as risk factors, the importance of early detection, and the role of regular screening in improving outcomes.
A particularly meaningful part of the educational session was the open forum, where staff were invited to share personal experiences, ask questions, and engage in honest conversations about breast cancer. This created a supportive and empowering environment that encouraged dialogue and reflection.
We were especially proud of the enthusiastic participation from our female team members, whose contributions helped make the day both impactful and inspiring. The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of awareness, compassion, and community in the fight against breast cancer.
