Akano goes on a boat trip
Yesterday the team at Cygnet Sherwood Lodge facilitated a request from a service user, Akano, to go on a boat ride.
It is something Akano has wanted to do for a while and he was very excited when the team organised the trip on the Rutland Belle on Rutland Water, the largest reservoir in the UK.
Beth Taylor, Activity Coordinator, said: “Akano really enjoyed his trip and everyone had a lovely day, we all had a walk around the water, ate a picnic and an ice cream before ending the day with the ride on the boat.”
