This Eating Disorders Awareness Week, Cygnet is proud to share Ella’s story.
Ella received treatment at Cygnet Nield House after her eating disorder escalated during lockdown. In this honest and insightful film, she speaks about the early signs, the impact of secrecy and denial, being admitted to hospital, and the support that helped her rebuild her life.
With reflections from her family and the staff who supported her, Ella hopes her story will encourage others to seek help and demonstrate that recovery is possible with the right support.
