On Tuesday 21st November staff from across Cygnet gathered at Edgbaston Cricket Club’s Banqueting Suite in Birmingham to mark our second Cygnet Staff Achievement Awards.
Congratulations to Dr Jenna Moffitt, our Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist from Cygnet Newham House for being nominated for a UKABIF award for the work she has done to encourage investment in services to support those with acquired brain injuries.
Well done to the team at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate who have been praised for the support provided to service users with Care Quality Commission inspectors highlighting the “outstanding” caring nature of its staff.
Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke’s Recovery College recently held its autumn launch event which also saw the opening of the new Kewstoke Café.
Cygnet Hospital Oldbury and Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton, our two new purpose built emergency mental health inpatient services in the West Midlands, are both under construction and are due open in mid-2024.
The manager of a school for young people who have been admitted into hospital due to their mental health has spoken about why she felt compelled to become an ambassador for speaking up and create an open environment where people felt safe and encouraged to air concerns.
