We are pleased to welcome Philip Winterbottom as Cygnet’s new Head of Safeguarding. We’re also very excited to announce that the central safeguarding team will be expanding and we are recruiting a second Named Professional for Safeguarding (Adults and Children) alongside a Safeguarding Administrator to support the team.

Eat the Rainbow Week at Cygnet Hospital Taunton

As part of their health promotion programme the team at Cygnet Hospital Taunton's Swift Ward recently held an Eat the Rainbow Week. Service users and staff spent time looking at fruits and vegetables that correlated to the colour of the rainbow, and the benefits they have on their health.

New Minibus for residents at Tabley House Nursing Home

The team at Tabley House Nursing Home were delighted today to accept delivery of a brand new minibus to use for trips for residents. Cygnet Health Care’s CEO Dr Tony Romero made a special visit to officially hand over the keys to Registered Manager Karen Lynskey and ‘cut the ribbon’ on the new vehicle.

Cygnet Hospital Stevenage launches brand new music studio

Cygnet Hospital Stevenage recently opened its very own on-site recording studio with state-of-the-art equipment and a custom built recording booth. The Cyber Saints studio is not only a place where service users can go to record songs, but to learn new skills such as music production, playing instruments and build confidence.

Congratulations to Vicky and the staff team at the Excel and Exceed Centre at Cygnet Hospital Bury after the school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted following the latest inspection. Inspectors praised staff for being ‘determined that pupils receive every opportunity to succeed’.
