Cygnet Hospital Sherwood build gets underway

Work has begun on Cygnet Hospital Sherwood, a new purpose built facility in Mansfield to support men and women who are struggling with their mental health. Dr Tony Romero, CEO of Cygnet Health Care, joined the team in Rainworth to officially break ground on the build.

Cygnet Hospital Bury opens new acute service for men

Cygnet Hospital Bury have today opened White House, their new purpose built 18-bed acute mental health service for men. The service will provide a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

Cygnet Adarna House, our new rehabilitation service in Bradford for men with mental illness and a secondary diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, is due to open in early 2022. The service will support up to nine men in a homely, open and community facing environment for individuals who are preparing for community life, but need further support to move to more independent living.

Oaklands, our specialist residential service with nursing in Hexham, Northumberland, have today opened the first of their four new single occupancy flats. These new self-contained living areas provide the opportunity for individuals with more challenging needs to live in their own space with staff support.
