Aiming for ‘Fresh Air’ at Cygnet Hospital Ealing

On 1st April 2017 Cygnet Hospital Ealing will be going completely smoke free. In preparation for this the hospital's occupational therapy (OT) team hosted a series of smoking cessation events throughout 'Stoptober' to raise awareness of the benefits of giving up smoking and to look at different strategies to quit.

New ‘Healing Garden’ at Cygnet Hospital Ealing

Service users on Cygnet Hospital Ealing's New Dawn ward have begun a new gardening project. The idea for the 'Healing Garden' originated from a Healthy Living Skills group and, with the support of the Occupational Therapy team, service users have been planting flowers as well as herbs that they aim to use in future cooking sessions.
