    In September Elston House celebrated 10 years since it first opened its doors to residents. Elston House is an 8 bed specialist residential service for adults with autism which was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by the CQC in July 2018.
        
    
    On Wednesday 18th September the team at Cygnet Aspen House, our high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for women, hosted their inaugural 'Great Aspen Bake Off'.

    Today it is World Suicide Prevention Day and to mark the event the team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton are participating in the ‘Cycle around the Globe’ challenge to collectively raise awareness about suicide.
        
    
    On Friday 23rd August Cygnet Hospital Derby’s Recovery College hosted an event celebrating Pride which included the Pride of Cygnet Derby Awards.
        
    
    The Occupational Therapy team at Cygnet Hospital Beckton, our hospital in East London for women with complex mental health needs, recently hosted their annual Music Festival.
        
    
    On Saturday 24th August the team at Cygnet Hospital Bury had the pleasure of joining in with Manchester’s Pride Event. The team secured a place in the Annual Pride Parade and joined other organisations in marching through Manchester's City Centre, showing our support for our service users and staff groups diversity and differences.
        
    
    Cygnet are partnering with The Open University for our next Trainee Nursing Associate Programme, which will offer a new, exciting and inclusive model of learning for our staff.
