Dr Rowanne Dinning

Dr Rowanne Dinning is a Clinical Psychologist currently working at Cygnet Bury Forestwood within the children and adolescent mental health inpatient service.

She has developed extensive experience across a range of mental health settings, including primary and secondary care services, substance misuse support, and community mental health provision. Her clinical interests include supporting neurodivergent individuals, complex trauma and personality presentations, and improving access to psychological support for underserved populations.

Dr Dinning completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Lancaster University (2022–2025) and previously graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology (2014–2017). Prior to her current role, she worked as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist with Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust and held positions including Primary Care Mental Health Practitioner, Harm Reduction Worker, and Mental Health Support Worker. Her doctoral research explored the lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals and perspectives on psychological support options, including psychedelic-assisted therapies.
