Meet the Manager

Emotonghe Ifiti - Registered Manager

Emotonghe is a Health and Social Care graduate with over 20 years’ experience of working in various settings for vulnerable adults. She originally began her career working with the elderly before moving to children services then to the NHS working as nursing assistant in QE11 hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

Emotonghe returned to the care sector in 2004 and has since worked for a number of organisations in the public and independent sector in a variety of roles. Emotonghe joined Cygnet in 2020 as a team leader before being appointed service manager in 2021. She has a passion for empowering residents to live a fulfilling life.

Last month was an exciting time for our Quality Improvement (QI) programme with the first three of our Social Care sites across Cygnet getting QI projects up and running and achieving QI Ready status.
