The Old Vicarage is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.
We encourage and enable individuals we support to lead a full and happy life, working with them to discover their strengths, abilities, and preferences so that their care can be as person-centred as possible.
Our service at a glance
The Old Vicarage is a large house, parts of which date back to the 17th Century. The home is situated within easy walking distance to the centre of Hungerford.
The main house has nine spacious rooms and the annexes provide a one two bed apartment, alongside two single self-contained apartments.
The people we support:
- Adults from the age of 18+ years
- Individuals with a primary diagnosis of learning disability accompanied with behaviours that challenge including mental illness or a forensic background
- Individuals with a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder or autism
- May have communication challenges
- May have associated complex needs
