Marlowe Ward is a 12 bed High Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) service that delivers high-quality care within a community atmosphere, while focusing on discharge planning from the moment service users arrive.
Milligan House is an eight bed service that is an annexe to the main building, containing six pre-discharge beds with an additional two self-contained flatlets. The service includes High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community Rehabilitation (Level 1). This dual-level rehabilitation model ensures that men receive the support they need while developing independence at their own pace.

Dual-Level Rehabilitation
At Milligan House, we have evolved our model to offer both High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community Rehabilitation (Level 1) within one service.
Service users have access to a range of therapies and opportunities and care plans are individualised. Our recovery programme is delivered in a culture that balances risk management with therapeutic optimism, where men have the opportunity to learn and practice the skills they will need in a completely safe environment.
The local community is an essential step along the pathway to independence, for both leisure pursuits and for social training such as shopping and using public transport. External activities are tailored to individual needs and wishes.
