Penny Robinson – Service Manager

Penny has worked for Cygnet for over ten years following completion of a psychology degree at De Montfort University. Having initially started as a support worker, Penny has worked her way up through a number of roles including activity co-ordinator and deputy manager and now service manager.

Penny has mainly worked in residential settings supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. Since joining Cygnet she has completed many courses to develop her knowledge and skill set which include NVQ and Healthcare Assistant Practitioner level 5. Penny believes in a person centred approach and aims to ensure that the individuals we care for have the best quality of life.

Emme Edwards - Deputy Manager

Emme joined Cygnet in 2024 as the Deputy Manager at Conifers. Emme has a vast knowledge of experience within the care sector including mental health, learning disabilities and autism. Emme has her Level 5 in Management and brings lots of positive risk taking ideas to the table to ensure the individuals we support have the best quality of life allowing them to experience the same opportunities as everyone else.

Bethany Alexander – Activities Coordinator

Bethany Alexander is the Activity Coordinator for both Conifers and Marion House, having joined in July 2024.

She holds a degree in Human Biology and has worked in several settings across health and social care. Bethany is currently working towards the degree apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy as her next step in Cygnet.
