Wellbeing Wednesday at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green
A real highlight of the day was seeing staff and service users come together as one, taking part in every session side by side, supporting each other, and creating a strong sense of community throughout.
Zoe Collins, Recovery Education Lead & Fitness Instructor, said “We kicked things off in the gym with an energising session for both service users and staff, bringing a bit of fun and healthy competition to start the day strong.
“A huge thank you to our Wellbeing Lead Beata Bikowska and the Kitchen team for putting together an amazing breakfast spread, packed with nutritious options to fuel everyone for the day ahead
“In the afternoon, members of our MDT came together from OT, to Psychology and our Physical Health Nurse to share valuable tips and advice on how we can better look after ourselves, both mentally and physically. It was a great opportunity to reflect, learn, and support one another. We also took part in the “Move in 15 Challenge” in aid of Mental Health Awareness Week, highlighting just how impactful physical activity can be on our mental wellbeing.
“A big thank you to all departments who took time out of their busy schedules to create wonderful displays and engage in meaningful conversations throughout the day. Your effort truly made a difference.”
