Toller Road Resident’s Day at Comic Con
He was excited about the day since Michelle Robertson, Activity Coordinator, booked the tickets in April.
To make sure he was prepared, Connor and his Support Worker Cody talked through the possibility of it being quite busy, along with possible traffic on the way.
Once there, Connor was happy walking around the different stalls, he even pointed out characters that Cody didn’t know. He complimented people on their costumes and bought some cool memorabilia from some of his favourite shows.
Connor had a subway for his lunch and after this he lined up to meet Kurt Thornton – the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic series. Connor was in the line for two hours but remained happy and excited throughout, pointing out some of the other voice actors that were signing and taking pictures.
When Connor finally met Kurt they spoke about how Kurt was casted as Shadow and Connor shared what his character means to him. Kurt signed a poster of Shadow, to Connor and his family, they also took a photo and said Shadow’s catchphrase: “Chaos! Control!”
