The Mhories: A Celebration of Fun and Friendship at Ellen Mhor
To make the occasion special, Activity Coordinator Fred designed a vibrant slideshow featuring highlights from the year, from garden activities and craft sessions to celebrations and shared moments that make Ellen Mhor feel like home.
Each individual received a personalised award in fun and thoughtful categories such as “Morning Greeter”, “Best Dancer” and “Best Joker”. Some proudly displayed their certificates in the lounge, while others kept them in their rooms as a keepsake.
To round off the event, the people we support also chose several staff members to recognise, adding to the sense of community and appreciation.
Service Manager Lori Sutherland said: “It was a perfect celebration of the residents, the staff, and the community that makes Ellen Mhor special.”
