Thank you to Carers at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield
The event brought people together from across services, creating a welcoming space to connect, share experiences and support one another. Guests enjoyed tea, sandwiches and cakes prepared by the Cygnet Hospital Sheffield kitchen team, alongside meaningful conversations and a strong sense of community.
We were also pleased to welcome Mia, an Expert by Experience, who shared personal insights and offered hope and encouragement around recovery.
As a token of appreciation, carers received thoughtful ‘moment of care’ packs and personalised thank-you cards, also sent in the post to those carers unable to attend in person
. The young people on Griffin and Unicorn wards also contributed by preparing handmade gifts, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the day.
