Tea Party for Macmillan at Toller Road
Toller Road recently hosted a tea party to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
They invited their neighbours and served homemade cakes made by the cook, Lorna, as well as by the staff and their families. They also took pre-orders for cakes and sold them on the day. Everyone enjoyed the spread prepared by Lorna.
Some people donated money directly to the charity, and in total, they raised £226.50. Toller Road also received a thank-you card from one of their neighbours, expressing their gratitude for the day.
