Sunshine, Support and Afternoon Tea at Cygnet Pindar House
Carers had the opportunity to speak with the multidisciplinary team and access helpful advice and support, while also connecting with others in a relaxed setting.
Guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea prepared by the kitchen team and quality time with their loved ones, before receiving a small gift as a token of appreciation.
Barnsley Carers Service also attended to provide crucial information on carer rights and local support networks and the independent Patient Advocate joined the event to ensure families felt heard, supported, and fully informed.
Thank you to the Activity Coordinator Tanya Dodd and Carers Lead Cameron Jessop for organising the day. Cygnet Pindar House and its entire team is committed to providing a welcoming, carer-friendly environment all year round and are looking forward to planning more carer events throughout the year.
