Sunshine, Sports and Success at Cygnet St William’s
They enjoyed a packed programme of activities in the sunshine. From egg and spoon races to sack races, there was plenty of friendly competition, with the three-legged race proving a particular favourite among those cheering from the side-lines.
A barbecue and ice cream van helped keep everyone refreshed throughout the day, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for staff and service users alike.
The celebrations continued with the Cygnet St William’s Staff Awards, recognising team members who go above and beyond in their roles. Awards including the Smile Maker, Cheerleader and Professional Night Owl categories highlighted the dedication, positivity and compassion that make the team so special.
Georgia Nelson, Regional Lead Occupational Therapist, said: “It was an unforgettable day packed with laughter, fun and heartfelt appreciation. The atmosphere was electric and the games really brought out everyone’s competitive and playful side.”
The event was a chance to celebrate achievements, strengthen team spirit and recognise the hardworking people whose passion and commitment make a difference every day.
