Sign and Sing at Broughton Lodge
The sessions use exciting resources like signing dice, interactive tablets, colourful props, and even paddling pools to make learning enjoyable and engaging. Everyone can join in at their own pace and in their own way.
Through these sessions, residents have been learning new signs and practising important social skills like taking turns, paying attention together, and sharing equipment with friends. It’s lovely to see how much confidence everyone has gained through these activities.
Recently, the group has been meeting outdoors under the gazebo, where residents have been enjoying water play with paddling pools and toy ducks whilst singing “Five Little Ducks Went Swimming One Day.” The fresh air and playful atmosphere have made the sessions even more special.
