Resident’s rockin’ 70th birthday bash
Martin, an individual we support at Old Leigh House, got suited and booted to celebrate his 70th birthday with an Elvis tribute act.
Dressed in a smart three‑piece suit, Martin and the Old Leigh House group travelled in style by white limousine to The Ironworks in Southend. The venue was beautifully decorated, with plenty of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy. Martin greeted guests warmly, clearly touched by the kindness and affection surrounding him.
Elvis Presley announced himself with a song and soon the gathered party humming and singing along. People tucked in to the buffet and began dancing before Martin made a warm speech.
