Old Leigh House residents keeping Southend clean for Earth Day
The residents at Old Leigh House, our residential service in Leigh-On-Sea, went litter picking to celebrate Earth Day on 22nd April.
Joanna Furtak, Activity Coordinator, said: “The team chose Westcliff Gardens at the Southend seafront as our focus area. Equipped with litter pickers, our Old Leigh House team set to work clearing three big bags of rubbish and making the area neat and tidy. This was a really positive day – our residents were motivated to be part of cleaning our local environment and having an ice cream treat at the finish.”
