Oaklands marks Wave of Light with reflection and remembrance
Staff and people supported at Oaklands came together to mark Wave of Light, a global event honouring and remembering babies gone too soon.
Support Worker Chelcie, for whom the cause holds special meaning, wanted to create a heartfelt moment of reflection with those she supports. Together, individuals we support and staff baked pink and blue cupcakes before holding a peaceful candlelight tribute to remember and reflect.
It was a touching and meaningful occasion, bringing everyone together in compassion and remembrance.
