Nightingale team helps resident plan her first-ever holiday
Working alongside the activity coordinator, she created a comprehensive holiday plan including:
- Selecting her perfect caravan
- Choosing ideal dates
- Planning menus
- Making shopping and packing lists
- Creating a holiday calendar
Her hard work paid off when she arrived at Rockley Park in mid-May for a week of fun and relaxation. The park proved to be the perfect choice, offering everything she enjoys in one location – swimming, entertainment, games, and opportunities to unwind.
“My favourite part was the arcades and winning tickets,” she shared. Her skill at the ticket machines was impressive, accumulating over 1,500 tickets which she exchanged for two special prizes to remember her trip.
Daily swimming became a highlight of her routine, and luck was on her side when she won the bingo on her very first night!
She particularly enjoyed Wednesday evening with Nightingale’s manager and deputy manager. Together, they shared pizza while watching entertainment, spent time in the arcade, took a late-night walk, and shared plenty of laughter.
The holiday was such a success that she’s already looking forward to planning her next adventure for next year – and hopes other residents might join her!
