Monkey World visit, pizza day and beach outings at Nightingale
A group enjoyed a visit to Monkey World, spending time exploring the park and observing the animals. They were even lucky enough to see the monkeys being fed their lunch — a highlight of the day.
On 9th February, Nightingale also celebrated National Pizza Day. Individuals and staff made their own pizzas for dinner, choosing from toppings such as peppers, onions, sweetcorn, cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni. There were plenty of creative (and delicious!) combinations.
With Nightingale just a five‑minute walk from Southbourne Beach, people we support have been making the most of the sunny intervals. Beach visits bring lots of joy – from collecting seashells and building sandcastles to watching dogs play along the shoreline or exploring other parts of Bournemouth.
