Cassandra, an individual we support at Cygnet Hospital Bierley, enjoyed an exciting evening at an MMA event after being gifted free tickets by a local fighter she met through her boxing gym.
As a semi-professional boxer herself, boxing is a huge part of Cassandra’s life. With support from the team, she has been using her leave to regularly attend a local boxing gym and continue pursuing her passion.
Cassandra had a fantastic time at the event and even got to see the fighter who gifted her the tickets secure a win.
Reflecting on the experience and the support she has received, Cassandra said: “Still being able to go boxing, which is a huge part of my life, has been amazing. The support and help has been fantastic by the team.”
