Green fingers at Cygnet Nield House

Service users and staff at Cygnet Nield House have been busy working in the hospital’s garden. The vegetable plot is coming along nicely with produce including beetroot, potatoes, kale, carrots, leeks, french beans and lettuce. Simon from the maintenance team has made planters and service users have decorated pebbles and made vases from recycled disinfectant tubs.

Carmen Messam, Activities Coordinator, said “We’re really proud of how the garden is looking. It makes a big difference to the service users when they are sat outside. I’d like to thank B&Q Crewe, Minshull’s Garden Centre and Wickes Crewe for their kind donation of plants. It is very much appreciated.”
