Family fun day at Cherry Tree House and Pines
Guests were treated to a visit from an animal petting farm, an ice cream van, and a bouncy castle, as well as classic fairground fun including hook-a-duck, guess the jelly beans, and a donut stall. There was plenty to enjoy throughout the day: from fruity mocktails named after individuals we support to sizzling burgers and hot dogs fresh from the grill.
Entertainment included 90s karaoke tributes, popcorn and candyfloss machines, and plenty of chances to make memories together. One family member shared how much they enjoyed reconnecting with simple pleasures, saying they hadn’t had an ice cream from a van since their children were toddlers.
Sophie Hill, Manager at Cherry Tree House, said: “Many of our guests travelled from across the country to join us, and it meant so much to our residents and staff to have everyone together. The atmosphere was full of joy and connection – a true celebration of community.”
