Ellen Mhor resident takes up ice hockey
Ellen Mhor resident Matthew has recently achieved an exciting milestone of taking his first steps into the world of ice hockey.
Over the past year, Matthew has worked hard to improve his skating, attending public skating sessions in the Dundee Ice Arena. Now, his hard work has paid off as he has joined the Dundee based group ‘Hockey for All’, to play with other ice hockey enthusiasts on a regular basis.
The Hockey for All program is designed to help beginners develop their confidence and skills in the sport and give others the opportunity to play regularly, making it the perfect starting point for Matthew’s ice hockey journey.
Matthew’s goal is to continue developing his skills and one day join a local ice hockey team. Matthew said “I really want to join a team in Dundee….I love ice hockey and I’m getting better with all my practising”.
