Ellen Mhor make a splash at Willowgate Activity Centre
Ellen Mhor residents, Beth and Vicky, spent the afternoon at the Willowgate Activity Centre, located near Perth, for a fun-filled time on the water doing various water sports.
They joined other service users from across the other Scottish Cygnet services at the activity centre to take part in kayaking and canoeing on the Willowgate lagoon on the shores of the River Tay. They were accompanied by Reece & Ian, their support staff for the day, who also loved every minute of it. On the water, they received lots of guidance and tips from the centres’ instructors to help them master the ways of the canoe!
Beth said she loved “falling in the water and splashing people”.
Ian, who supported Beth & Vicky on the water said “This was something they’ve both never done but they had a great time and picked it up really quickly. They are already asking when can they go back and do it all again”.
