Eating Disorder Awareness Week at Cygnet Hospital Ealing
During the Eating Disorder Awareness Week at Cygnet Hospital Ealing service users and staff got stuck into activities like calligraphy, bracelet making, and mindful painting to give those we support a chance to step outside of their diagnosis and reconnect with who they are as individuals.
Whether carefully lettering a positive quote or picking out colours for a bracelet, these activities shift the focus from ‘perfection’ to the process. It’s about more than just the end product; it’s a creative space where people can practice patience with themselves, express their unique style, and build a sense of achievement that has nothing to do with their eating disorders.
Ass an added bonus everyone stepped out of their comfort zones with some Cuban music, enjoying great company and discovering new rhythms together.
