Cygnet Women’s Network meet in-person for Women’s History Month
Our recent in-person Women’s Network meeting brought colleagues together from across Cygnet to mark Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.
With almost 50 attendees joining in person at Cygnet Bury Dunes and online, the session focused on connection, shared experiences and championing women’s health and wellbeing.
The meeting featured powerful personal stories from colleagues who spoke about several important topics, including:
- Endometriosis and barriers to diagnosis
- Menopause and women’s mental health
- Fibroids and pregnancy complications
- Health inequalities experienced by women of colour
- Deaf awareness and accessible healthcare
Alongside these discussions, teams shared updates on ongoing projects to improve support across the organisation, including new domestic abuse resources, menstrual health initiatives and wider work on women’s safety and wellbeing.
This inspiring session highlighted our continued focus on listening, learning and empowering women throughout our services.
