Cygnet Oaks and Cygnet Pindar House charity walk for Mind
Last weekend a team of staff from Cygnet Oaks and Cygnet Pindar House in Barnsley completed a 12 mile charity walk between Barnsley and Mexborough to raise money for mental health charity, Mind. So far the team have raised over £900 in online donations and also collected £332 in cash donations during the course of their walk from members of the public.
Senior Support Worker Samantha Pegg, who organised the walk said: “It was a brilliant day had by all, we laughed, we had cars honking their horns at us en route, we heard personal stories from members of the public who told us about how Mind have saved their lives.”
