Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital celebrates Carers Rights Day
The event was a huge success and well attended by named carers, families and friends, with lots of positive feedback and gratitude to the team.
One carer shared the following reflection:
“I had reservations when my son was transferred to this service, as I had read negative reviews. However, based on my experience over a few months, I am reassured that my son is in good hands. The staff at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital are caring, welcoming, always ready to listen and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. We are thankful for your care and believe our son is in the best place for him.”
Ward managers and Staff nurses were present at the event to provide feedback as carers asked questions and gained fresh insights into their friends and family.
Overall, the event presented a meaningful platform to strengthen trust, communication, and partnership with carers, reaffirming their essential role in the well-being of the individuals we support.
