Cygnet Hospital Maidstone’s Cultural Celebration Day
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone recently held a Cultural Celebration Day, a chance to honour diversity, educate one another about different cultures, and create an inclusive environment where everyone felt proud to share their heritage.
They had a range of cultural stations, which shared traditions, clothing and stories from their own culture. They also created a multicultural menu, with staff coming together to prepare and share dishes. Food really does have a wonderful way of bringing people together!
General Manager Tina Stevens said: “It was fantastic to see everyone so engaged, asking questions and learning from one another. The day was a huge success, and seeing both our patients and staff smiling, connecting, and celebrating together made all the hard work worthwhile.”
