Cygnet Hospital Maidstone host first-ever Christmas fair
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone celebrated the start of the festive season with its first-ever Christmas Fair, held in support of Lily Smith House.
Lily Smith House is a local organisation providing essential accommodation and support to vulnerable homeless adults with complex needs.
The event brought together patients, carers and staff for an afternoon filled with creativity and community spirit, with visitors enjoying a wonderful range of activities and festive treats, including:
- Handcrafted decorations from our OT & Psychology-led arts sessions
- A waffle and pancake stall run by our very own Christmas Elves
- A cosy hot chocolate station hosted by elves Alison McCulloch & Tamryn Bothma
- Visits from two adorable Christmas ponies
- A handmade festive photo booth full of sparkle and smiles
The fair was a heart-warming reminder of the power of coming together, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed, attended or supported the event. The enthusiasm and teamwork shown across the hospital made the fair a wonderful success.
