Cygnet Hospital Maidstone celebrate Black History Month
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone united staff and service users to celebrate Black History Month. It was a beautiful, colourful, delicious day full of laughter.
Moreen Ajibola-James, the Multicultural Network Lead at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone, said: “As the Multicultural Lead for Cygnet Hospital Maidstone, and speaking on behalf of the team, we were very honoured to celebrate Black History Month on site with everyone. It was amazing to see all staff and patients from different cultures come together to celebrate with us. The music, the amazing dress codes and food from different black cultures made it easy for our patients to approach staff and ask questions. This was a success and brought everyone together. Let me just say it was a happy day!”
