Cygnet Hospital Hexham OT Community Group visit alpaca farm
Occupation Therapy Community Groups on the Acute Ward at Cygnet Hospital Hexham take place monthly. Service users choose each month where they would like to visit. Community groups are a vital part of recovery enabling engagement with local organisations, promoting social and community skills alongside engagement in new occupations. In March, service users chose to visit the Nero Black Alpaca Farm.
The team at Nero Black Alpaca were very knowledgeable and provided a great day out!
