Cygnet Hospital Colchester visit Hall Farm
Some of the service users at Cygnet Hospital Colchester recently enjoyed a trip to Hall Farm for an opportunity to engage with and feed some of the farmyard animals such as cows, goats, birds and sheep.
The chance to attend the farm and feed the farmyard animals helped with reducing stress and anxiety whilst providing a reminiscent effect on one service user who spoke about his time having worked on farms in the past and how much he would love to return to working on farms helping those with learning difficulties.
The visit provided a chance to learn about some of the animals with some fun facts dotted around the farm. The service users also enjoyed making new friends and joking with supporting staff and peers.
