Cygnet Churchill retain Triangle of Care Star 1 accreditation

Harrison Carnegie, Hospital Manager, said: “We are delighted to have maintained our Triangle of Care Star 1 Accreditation, which recognises the significant progress we have made in embedding carer involvement across all service lines at Churchill.”
Over the past year, the hospital has expanded its network of Carer Leads, improved staff awareness through training and reflective practice, and increased opportunities for carers to play an active role in care.
Feedback from Carers Trust highlights a strong culture where carers are recognised as integral to recovery and discharge planning.
“Since achieving our first accreditation in 2024, we have remained committed to continuous improvement,” Harrison added. “Over the next year, we will focus on integrating our carers strategy into our Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF) work, strengthening culturally responsive practice and developing more proactive ways to support and engage carers throughout the care pathway.”
